Portraits: Texas tanchers remember the epic 50s/60s drought

Between 1950 and 1960 Texas lost nearly 100,000 farms and ranches as a result of a seven year drought. NPR’s John Burnett and photographer Michael O’Brien worked together to gather an oral history of the drought.
