Scattered across Sierra Leone's capital, Freetown, stand ageing wooden houses cabins built in the style of 18th century East Coast America. These board houses are a reminder of the country's past as a colony that was established for freed slaves - photos by Finbarr O'Reilly.

Coffee drinking in the UK predates Costa and Starbucks - believe it or not. Notice how quiet Soho seems to be - and how little sidewalk activity there is. Nowadays you can't walk down the sidewalks they're so full of chairs and tables and signs and rubbish bins.
